How is Plesk licensed?

Plesk is licensed per server, with pricing options available for virtual (VPS) or physical (dedicated) servers. In addition, Plesk offers several editions licensed according to the number of domains per server.

Does my license automatically renew at the end of the billing period?

All licenses purchased from our Online Store have automatic renewal enabled by default.

At the end of your billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the type of license you purchased), a renewal order is automatically created and paid. Your license will be renewed shortly after the renewal order has been processed and paid.

What is the best payment method for my Online Store order?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Yes. Licenses purchased directly from the Plesk Online Store are eligible for a refund request within 14 days of purchase. Purchases made through third-party resellers, cloud marketplaces, or hosting providers are subject to their own refund policies.

Do I have to pay VAT?

All our prices are shown excluding VAT. Depending on your country of residence and whether you provide your own VAT ID, VAT may be added to your order.

What is the commitment?

There is no contract to sign with Plesk, and you can upgrade or downgrade between different editions at any time.

If you want to scale with Plesk, you can also consider becoming a hosting partner to resell and/or use Plesk for larger installations and platforms. Whether you are an agency, cloud or hosting provider, or even an independent developer or designer, Plesk can help you grow your business faster. Does Plesk offer hosting services?

No, we do not. You need to get your own server/hosting service from one of our partners, or quickly create a virtual server with one of the leading cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Alibaba Cloud).

Does Plesk work on my computer?

Plesk is software designed for servers running in the cloud or at any remote data center/hosting company of your choice. Plesk can be accessed through any standard browser on a computer or mobile device, but it must first be installed on a server. To ensure a quick installation on your server, we recommend reviewing the hardware and software requirements first.

What is the difference between a VPS and dedicated license?

License types are based on the environment in which Plesk will run. A VPS license can only be installed on a virtual server (see all supported virtualization technologies here). A dedicated license can be installed on both a dedicated server and a virtual server. There is no difference in the included features.

Do you offer discounts for non-profit and educational organizations?
